What's already built?

Right now: this page, the domain, and the first 55 creators we're inviting personally. Private preview opens next month. If you're on the invite list you'll get first crack at your itsme.page/name.

Can I use this without the AI stuff?

Yes. If you built it, sold it, or shipped it, and it belongs under your name — we're for you. The MCP publishing tool is a nice extra, not a requirement. Web upload works fine.

How is this different from Gumroad?

Community + hosted deploys + MCP publishing. Gumroad is a checkout with a creator page. It's Me is a creator page with a marketplace, a forum, a git repo, and a deploy button, built specifically for the vibe-coding wave.

How is this different from Product Hunt?

Product Hunt is a launch lottery — one day, up-or-out. It's Me is your permanent home. Your work stays on your page forever. Launches become moments, not lifetimes.

Do I need to publish to have a page?

No. Claim your name, follow makers you like, comment in threads, buy things. The profile is yours whether or not you ever list a project.

What about my code — is it locked in?

Never. Every project is a normal git repo. Push in from Cursor, clone out to GitHub any time. We're a distribution + community layer, not a code prison.

Who's building It's Me?

A small team out of Montreal, headed by Adam Phillips. Under Montreal Steno Inc. Bootstrapped, not venture-funded. No pressure to grow past a size where we can still write our own support replies.

Why 5% and not free?

5% pays for the deploy infrastructure, the community moderation, the tax compliance, and the salaries of the people writing replies to real questions like this one. GitHub charges the same and we think that's fair.
